Tape extensions sit flat against the scalp. Pre-glued wefts sandwich around small sections of your own hair so the join lies smooth rather than lumpy. A weave takes a different route: Claire braids your natural hair into a track first, then sews the extension hair onto that braid rather than gluing or clipping anything to your scalp directly. Nano rings go in one strand at a time, each one clamped through a tiny bead so the bond sits close to the root and moves with your hair instead of against it.

None of the three methods suits every head of hair, which is why the consultation matters more than the price list. Fine hair often does better with nano rings or tape, since both spread the weight across more points of contact. Thicker, coarser hair can usually carry a weave without extra strain on the scalp. And Claire will tell you plainly if the method you've asked for is not going to suit your hair, rather than fitting it anyway and hoping for the best.

One thing to sort before you book a fitting: you need to bring your own hair. Claire fits it for you, but she doesn't supply the hair itself, so that's arranged before your appointment goes in the diary.
